hi every one

after watching zini's method on washing and lubing pellets,as i have never done this to any of my pellets before i thought i would give it a go.in this footage you will see 5 shots @ 160bar.i tried to marry up both sets of cross hairs to see what groups i got

i have to apologize for the quality of this footage,as i was loosing day light.and wanted to complete my groups :icon_redface:

i cant show you guys all the footage as its taking to long to download.

this next bit of footage, shows my three groups and why I'm not happy with them( the last two groups)on the right hand side of the target

this next footage was with the AAS410K .177 @160bar now not surprised with these groups as of the flatter trajectory, and I'm more use to using this cal.same as above marry the cross hairs up and watch the group, also a shot at the center spot.which in comparison to the group below wasn't bad :icon_redface: lol.in this clip you will see a shot already in the center, this was done when showing Nathan how my scopecam worked

and close up

now through out this grouping i had some flyer's and i mean flyer's,as a way of "out takes" here they are.watch for shot 4,6,8, me knows this was down to about 90bar but still dose not excuse these 3 flyer's at this bar as the rest kept a fairly tight group

before the three shots i took some more shots at the center, which you can see.now as i was loosing light i decided to take my last 3 shots at three squares? just a bit of fun.

did this exercise change my accuracy :hmm::hmm: I'm not to sure just yet,i tink i will have to do another test when,I'm not under to much pressure and loosing light

i do think its going to take me a few sessions to get use to .22 again to take out live quarry and dispatch then humanely, hope you enjoyed.

hi ya davy

great vid matey so what you think about the washing and lube ? because i am going to give it ago in the week matey just to see the tx200 177 and the prosport 22 goes.

hi shay

as said in the vid,not too happy but its early days yet .just getting back in to using .22

but will say this .177 it still is pretty accurate, but .22 its heavier, slower,so any think to make it better is good,( maybe zini will lend me his trigger finger and right eye.)while he is in germany :laugh: i will persist with .22 as i remember i had some very good times shooting .22

try using some lubed ones and dry ones and see if ther is any difference, but you will have to clean your barrel on each test

Very interesting Davy, what pellets are you going to try in your .22 :D

i have always used .22 AA FIELDS and have never been to bad to be honest, but may try some bisleys,fx, too.who knows it may just be a phase im going through.and getting use to .22 again

I think you are asking too much of yourself mate to tell you the truth buddy.

That group was smashing mate  better than most will be able to produce with a .22 i bet.

It always will look bigger due to the pellet having a bigger diameter mate, but that was spot on buddy.

Alot better than your .177 groups :clapper:

The tortoise was slower than the hare buddy but you know which one won the race in the end :whistling:

Keep at it mate and good work.
